so, as most people know, i've been getting REALLY active on campus. maybe im thinking that im getting to active. along with trying to do a lot better in school, im working hella hours at work, doing SPOP and LDC trainings, and doing my thing in KASA. this wednesday, i experienced a day where i realized that maybe ive been taking on too much.... I had an 8am-1am day. with no rest. work 8-12, classes 12-2, work again 2-330...i was hoping to rest from 330-5, but i stayed a little later at work and had to get a new lab book at the bookstore and so i didnt get end up geting back to my room until 415. I knew i had SPOP training at 5, so there wasnt time to get in a good nappage, and i had to eat, because i knew i wouldnt have a chance later. so i ate fast for 30 mins in my room, and left for spop training at 5. that lasted till 7, then i went to KASA meeting and after event and didnt get home till 1. I WAS SO EXHAUSTED. man. i guess i put this on myself, being the eager beaver freshmen that i am. i guess my biggest challenge for myself is to find balance. find time for home, friends, everything i do, and MAKING SURE I DO A LOT BETTER IN SCHOOL! but as much as its taking its toll on me, im loving every minute of it....
especially spop. even to this day, i cant believe i was chosen to be part of spop staff 2007. to think of how much i looked up to my staffers and how amazing i thought they were when i went through spop, and now to have an opportunity to be one of them. wow. just wow. i cant wait for this summer.
"ill never forget....when the spop staffers kept us up ALL NIGHT, playing these dumbass (but fun) games, and then dragged us out to the top of mesa parking structure and then....well leave it at that... :)"
